To steal a tagline from the early days of Saturday Night Live, the Indianapolis Colts last week proved to be the NFL's latest "not ready for prime time players."Riding high with six wins in nine games after last season's 2-14 debacle, the Andrew Luck-led upstarts got a bitter taste of elite reality in the form of a 59-24 loss to the New England Patriots -- which turns this week's home game against Buffalo into a referendum on how quickly a young squad can rebound from emotional apocalypse. The Colts had won four straight heading into New England, but were quickly exposed while facing their first foe with a winning record since Week 2. Indianapolis turned the ball over four times, including a pair of interceptions from Luck that were returned for back-breaking touchdowns. Overall, Luck threw three INTs for the first time since his debut.

Key:

  • Aggregate Sentiment is meant to be an indicator of an individual's overall sentiment.
  • The Mean is meant to be an indicator of an individual's average comment sentiment.
  • The Standard Deviation, when there are enough quotes, will indicate an individual's consistency of sentiment (i.e. a Standard Deviation of 0 would mean they were very consistent in their sentiment and 1 would mean they were very inconsistent).

Note that quote stats are likely to be meaningless beyond the aggregate score due to the tiny sample size. However, they are always provided just in case you find something useful there.
