NYON, Switzerland-- Soccer leaders from throughout Europe tell The Associated Press they want UEFA to organize the 2020 European Championship in approximately 13 host countries. UEFA's executive committee satisfies Thursday and could possibly agree in principle to support President Michel Platini's multi-nation hosting plan, which he floated throughout Euro 2012. Germany FA president Wolfgang Niersbach informs AP the concept was supported throughout recent consultation meetings with UEFA's 53 member nations. Georgia, which wished to co-host Euro 2020 with Azerbaijan, also supports a "big project" to mark the competition 's 60th anniversary, says its soccer president Domenti Sichinava. Netherlands official Harry Been says "a lot of small countries should have a chance" to host matches in the 24-team competition.

Key:

  • Aggregate Sentiment is meant to be an indicator of an individual's overall sentiment.
  • The Mean is meant to be an indicator of an individual's average comment sentiment.
  • The Standard Deviation, when there are enough quotes, will indicate an individual's consistency of sentiment (i.e. a Standard Deviation of 0 would mean they were very consistent in their sentiment and 1 would mean they were very inconsistent).

Note that quote stats are likely to be meaningless beyond the aggregate score due to the tiny sample size. However, they are always provided just in case you find something useful there.
